The STANDARD 100 means that the product and its components such as fabric, buttons, zippers, and other accessories, have been tested for harmful chemicals and that it is not harmful to human health. The tests are conducted by independent OEKO-TEX -institutes based on an extensive and strict criteria catalogue. Several regulated and non-regulated substances, that can be harmful to human health are considered. The criteria often go beyond national and international requirements. The criteria catalogue is updated at least once a year and is extended based on new scientific knowledge or statutory requirements.
